I was curious to know if the device actually moves up and down the shaft? Or do you stick in your penis all the way and then the Real Touch unit stays in the position for the remainder of the time.
If it's the latter, I'm having a hard time seeing the benefit of the "life like orifice" that would just be at the base of the penis the whole time.
If it's the former it would seem you need to hold onto the whole Real Touch unit moves up and down the shaft. Which I'm fine with I'd just like some clarification.

I'm pretty certain that the device doesn't move. One of the promotional videos showed a guy using it hands free while sitting in a chair.

Yes, I believe it stays in place and most of the stimulation comes from the belts and such inside, that move back and forth but supposedly also can "squeeze". I'm pretty curious about how this all works too.
I actually like it's a stationary toy - the problem with toys that move up and down, like say, the Venus 2000 (for me at least) is that I have trouble keeping them on without popping off, especially near orgasm when things get really slick.
i think another question would be does the belts change depending on your size. You know one size fits all type of deal. Also does it know when you are about to climax?
I doubt that it can detect your size or that you're about to climax. But those are excellent ideas. I could imagine a climax button you would press that would jump the vid ahead to just before the money shot. You should be able to achieve the same with the mouse, too, but without a bookmark it'll be tricky.

TheFuture, that doesn't sound like something that should be happening. Have you tried a different type/brand of lube? Are you sore/hurt after, or do you recover quickly? How intense is the pain? Sometimes before I cum I get what could be described as a slight burning sensation in my tip, but that's mostlly the orgasm approaching and not painful as much as it is intense. Somehow I think that's not what you're talking about.

It is like rubbing your dick inside the fleshlight with no lube (friction burning pain) But what I don't get is that I will be using the fleshlight for like 5 minutes (with lube) and everything is fine and then the pain starts, so then I put more lube in and then start up again but then the burning friction pain returns.
