Cool, thanks frenchrock. A person from the realtouch live chat told me that my realtouch could be shipped via UPS in as little as 3 days! However, he also said to allow 7 business days... I will be very happy if it gets here by this Saturday. UPS delivers on Saturdays, right? Anyway, I can't wait til it gets here!

UPS only delivers on Saturdays when the option is selected (it costs more) and is only available for Air shipping methods.

Regarding pending bank activity, banks generally batch transactions and apply them to your account at intervals. For example, ACH (automated clearing house) transactions--basically, electronic checks--are batched at the end of each day. This is why it can take 2+ days to transfer money between banks.

Credit card accounts can reserve a portion of the available limit immediately and then "complete" the transaction at a later time. From the point of view of the vendor, the approval is nearly instantaneous, but your online statement won't show the transaction until it has settled. Depending on your bank, you may see a discrepancy between the current balance and available limit (they won't add up to your full credit limit) if you have outstanding transactions.

[Translation: Vendors don't care what's on your statement, the sale is either approved or not right away. Otherwise, you'd be standing in line at Best Buy for a long time.]

Just FYI, got my tracking info and mine shipped today and is supposed to be here Wednesday actually.

What is the difference between "Updated" and "Original"? Am I getting it this Friday or next Monday?

Also, when the realtouch gets here, do they require a signature for it? And if they do, do I have to sign it, or can anyone from inside my house sign for it? Thanks, in advance guys.

It sounds like you are getting yours on Friday (updated > original). Your tracking information would definitely tell you if a signature was required. Anyone can usually sign for a package that requires one.

I'm pretty sure that UPS comes up with a "original" shipping prediction. However once they actually receive it and it goes out they can get a better idea of when it will arrive. That is most likely what your "updated" time is. I would assume that you will get it 10-02.

Same - my guess is you'll get it the updated date. As far as signature, I don't know. There's a chance I won't be home tomorrow if mine comes so I hope not, but time will tell. (I'll be home most of the day - just not late afternoon). I hope to post an initial review tomorrow night should I get it.
