DeepThroat might be interested to know (if he doesn't already) that his machine gets quite a large mention in an interesting book published recently : 'Love and Sex With Robots' by David Levy.
It is a very good book, by the way. A lot of fascinating information, particularly in a chapter entitled 'sex technologies' that detail the history of sex toys, right up to the VSM and RealDolls (it was published just before RealTouch was first publicised).
The author believes that sex robots will largely replace regular human partners for most people - in the space of just a couple of decades...

Yes, actually several years ago, circa 2003, there were in discussions with the originator of the realistic silicone sex doll industry. If I recall, there was a small article about the meeting in Vegas. It never got past the "discussion" phase, but there's no reason it couldn't in the future.
There is certainly something to be said for how much "advancement in technology" the public can swallow at once. (No pun intended.)
They are still wrapping their respective heads around these types of technologies. Acceptance and understanding is slow. Fortunately, we are just in the very early stages of this revolution.
What you suggest can certainly be done from a technology standpoint. But that's not the only consideration. It's also got to have a market, and be affordable. Both industries concerned are still "niche" industries. Once thing s are more widely accepted, I'm sure we'll see all types of configurations.

The VSM Has a medical grade Dual Chamber Vacuum pump that is used for several different purposes. It is used in conjunction with the digital relief valve to simulate oral sex, anal sex, and Vaginal sex, by varying the level of vacuum in the chamber, as well as recreating rapid changes in vacuum like a "lollipop suck" where a partner "pops" the penis out of her mouth like a lollop. The machine and it's functions are completely controlled by the video. It canm also be used, by the design of the software and the simulated skin material, to recreate the differences in the various sexual orifices. (Tighter for an anus, looser for a mouth etc.) In the same sense, it can also simulate the proverbial "Girl that can suck the chrome off a bumper hitch," or "Golf ball through a garden house," speaking figuratively.
The design here, is, to recreate the action of the screen for a fully immersive sexual experience.
It should not be confused with a remote control "sex toy." That is not what it is. It is completely controlled by the videos, to answer your question specifically.
