Hey all,

Hopefully this is okay with the mods as it discusses other (*non*-interactive) products, so just a disclaimer in advance. I'm not affiliated with Tenga nor am I promoting them or trying to advertise them per se - just giving my honest opinion because for me this was a very cool discovery, especially while waiting for RealTouch. I won't post any links but there's plenty of information on Google for those interested. I'd also love to hear about any other innovative male products out there because there just aren't enough - hehe.

In browsing a store I often shop, I came across a type of sleeve that I guess has been around for quite some time (3 years or so) in Japan but I'd never heard of. Its called Tenga and there are several variations of it with different sensations.

Now, before I go any further, it's not your normal sleeve and has what many consider a major downside. It's a pre-lubed single use toy, and they're a little pricey (around $10...more in some stores). That said, even though it's advertised as single use, it *can* be used multiple times. I wouldn't do it over a long period of time due to bacteria, and I'd also gently wash it out each time with a little mild soap and water, then add some new lube (and it's not quite the same as that first time, though close), but I think it can be used at least several times this way safely. I have, at least, without problems, though mine is nearing end of life. lol.

I have a Fleshlight (early one - haven't tried more recent models) as well as some other silicone sleeves, a humpable cyberskin butt/vagina, and even an inflatable doll (I sort of have a sex toy fetish lol). I enjoy them all. But I can honestly say this thing (I tried the Lip Service 6.0 in their lineup) is the *best* sleeve I've ever tried in my life in terms of sensation. It's just unreal.

I started researching this company after my experience with it, and these are very popular in Japan (which isn't nearly as repressed about advertising such things). Most sleeves I've tried are supposed to simulate sex...a vagina or anus for example (maybe add a bit of sensation with nubs or ridges) - these seem to be engineered around actually besting it. The feelings you get from the thing are bizarre and interesting though reminiscent of certain things (like head), but not afraid to do things that normal sex can't easily. For example, the one I tried has a section that's shallow inside made of a type of foam that specifically stimulates the head...I actually finished by *turning* the toy instead of pumping it for one of the most intense orgasms of my life. It's also got a little air hole with sticker at the top, and the amount of suction is controlled by whether the sticker is on it (a bit like the lid functions on a Fleshlight).

It's too expensive to buy these too often. But as an occasional treat, and with care so you can use it at least a few times, I actually think it's a great product, a bit like a glass of good wine once in a while.

I have seen a few complaints about problems if you have a lot of girth. I'm fairly average sized so it's no problem for me and I would think it can accomodate fairly good sized erm...dolphins. (Some sites advertise it as a dolphin waxer - lol). But your mileage may vary if you're huge.

They also make several other models I'm hoping to eventually try. They make little eggs (they look just like supermarket eggs) that stretch to fit you and are masturbators (bunch of different internal patterns). And they make several variations of this normal-sized one (bigger than the eggs) too. They even make a device (reusable) to warm them to body temperature...

There's also one I'm especially interested in called the Flip Hole that *is* very easily cleanable (it literally flips open to be rinsed out). It's pricey (almost as much as RealTouch for a manual toy), but supposedly can be used 50 times or more if well taken care of (I'd guess substantially more), and it has "buttons" that are supposed to change the sensation depending on where you press (not electronic - simply based on how your hands press; adjusts pressure/airflow I think). I haven't tried this, but I think I will - if it's anywhere near as good as the Tenga I did try, it'll be my favorite toy, at least until RealTouch comes out. It also doesn't *look* like anything sexual so can just be kept right out in the open if you choose to.

LOL. Nice! hehe. I'm glad my post is okay - I was debating because I didn't want it to sound like an ad, but I really thought some people might like to investigate this after the experience I had.

Funnily enough, I ended up trying blu e-cigarettes too because of the ads here. It's an okay product (shipping took forever), but I've moved on to a Titan 510 now (more vapor and more reilable). But your ads actually brought my attention to e-cigs in the first place, so thanks for that. ^.^

As far as Tenga. the reviews some places are a bit mixed, so not everyone likes them as much as I do (though the biggest complaint is people not understanding they're not reusable). But I seriously can't imagine a better feeling sleeve right now. And most of the people who know what they're getting into ahead of time seem to really like them.

I hear (haven't gotten) the eggs are much easier to clean than the regular units. And then of course there's the reusable one that's pricier but might be worth it. If other people try other variants, I'd love to hear the experiences (and I'll post if I try some others).

I think you'll really enjoy the 510 - more vapor than blu and you don't need to really wait between puffs like you do with blu. Blu's not bad, but I use the 510 a lot more, and I like refilling my own carts (plus its lots cheaper).

I'll be interested to hear what you think of Tenga if you try it. =)

I have a "flip hole" and yes...It truly is as good as the reviews say. And that's coming from a fleshlight owner. My only complaint with it is that I managed to somehow lose the "clamp" that holds it together, so I always have to come up with a system to hold it. Haha.

Thanks for the feedback eodtech! I can see how it would be frustrating to misplace the stand. I just noticed some sites are advertising a Flip Hole Black coming out soon that I guess has an entirely new sleeve inside (supposedly tighter), so maybe you'll have an excuse to get a new stand with a new unit as bonus.

So I just got my Flip Hole (and wamer) this weekend! Awesome! Here's my full review:

- *PACKAGING* Okay, so normally I wouldn't even consider packaging. But this thing is...impressive. You'd swear you have an Xbox or iPod or something. It comes in this clear plastic container with 3 vials (they look like blood vials lol) of assorted lube and seriously looks like a piece of art or electronic device instead of a sex toy. It may be inconsequential in the end, but it's stlill a nice surprise and feeling when you pick it up the first time - you feel like you actually got what you paid for.

- *SLEEVE DESIGN* Wow! Regular sleeves feel great and all, but this is the first product I've seen where you can literally flip it open and take a look at what's inside. It's actually really interesting - it's incredibly complex in there and also very pretty aesthetically. It's just a neat experience to see what all is in there and also be able to see what the "buttons" do when you put pressure on them. It's also so easy to line the whole thing with lube without getting yourself a mess in the process (nice for watching porn as you can keep your hands clean to use the remote lol)!

- *FEEL* This one to me feels much like a tight Fleshlight with a bit more variety. It is *not* quite as intense as the previous Lip Service 6.0 single-use toy from Tenga I tried, and I *think* that's because it's all soft silicone inside. My favorite part on the Lip Service 6.0 is a rougher section made of some sort of rough foamy/spongy material that was slightly abrasive, and it's still the best feeling sleeve I've ever used because of it. The Lip Service 6.0 is also smaller than the Flip Hole, and since I'm not huge, that may have a bit to do with it as well. So Flip Hole quite honestly isn't QUITE as good to me as Lip Service 6.0, but on the flip side (pun intended), I can last quite a bit longer, and it still feels friggin' amazing, especially during orgasm. The ability to slightly alter sensation by pressing on the various "buttons" enhances it a bit, though I find for me, turning it on its side actually makes it feel the best. But it's fun to vary it. It also comes with some interesting lube (a thicker one, a thinner one, and one with menthol to give a kind of extra zing).

- *EASE OF CLEANING* This is by far my favorite thing about the product. One of the reasons I don't use my Fleshlight more is this - it's a pain to clean. Sure you can run water through it then leave it to dry, but to really clean it, you need to take the sleeve out, mess with the caps, get it back in, powder it possibly, etc. And it just gets really old to do it every time you use it. With Flip Hole, it is so simple it's ridiculous. Open it, run soap and water over the interior, and use the stand to prop it open to dry. Ready for next use. I can see myself using this almost every day just because it's so accessible, moreso than any toy I've owend. I hope RealTouch is this easy.

- *ENGINEERING* What I can't get over is the sheer thought that went into this thing. For one thing, the stand it comes with has multiple uses. It can house the thing (including the hole) to camoflauge it completely or for storage out in the open (nobody would have a clue what it was - I keep it right out in the open). It can be reversed to hold the thing together and expose the hole for use (as eodtech mentioned, it is what keeps it from flipping open while doing the deed, though you can hold it together instead if you want). OR it can be used to hang the thing on to dry after cleaning. Then there's the buttons to alter sensation. It's just purely designed around use with as little hassle and cleanup as possible. Seems quite durable too. They advertise it good for 50 uses...I can actually see it lasting substantially longer if used with care, but of course time will tell.

- *WARMER* The warmer's a separate product and I'm sure would work fine with other products besides just Tenga ones (Fleshlight for example - haven't tried it but I'm sure it'd work great). Very neat, very simple. Turn it on, pop the sleeve on 5 minutes, and it's nice and warm (not dangerously hot) for use. Only complaint is the chord is pretty short which limits where you can put it.

Overall, couldn't be happier, and I'll be curious to know what's different in the upcoming black model. I do wish it had the slightly rougher parts like the Lip Service 6.0, but I imagine that would be difficult because that spongey section wouldn't be easy to clean like silicone is. So I may still occasionally indulge in some of the other Tengas (just wish they were cheaper or came in packs to make them more economical). But as my mainstay toy, highly recommended!

Question: I understand they are targeting a "50 use" scenario on this, so I'm guessing that hinge on the end is your basic plastic fold hinge?
That would probably last at least 3 times the required uses. Does that sound about right?

I'm not super familiar with hinge types, but yes, I think that's accurate (plastic fold hinge). It appears to be a white line (like a seam) when closed or open and there's nothing specifically hinge-looking like a door would have or something. I would assume it's the weakest part of the Flip Hole, though it certainly seems sturdy enough to me - I wouldn't want to keep opening and closing it ad naseum tho'. Keep in mind this is meant to be protected during use by having the stand attached to hold the device together. In that configuration, this entire section is completely covered and immobile. So really, the only time you use the hinge is to clean it, lube it, look at it, or hang it on the stand to dry - any other times it's pretty well protected. Also, when flipped to open, the two halfs meet each other, so it doesn't bend at any time more than 180 degrees or a straight line.

I can't really speculate as to how long that would make the thing last - guess I'll find out with time. But I certainly wouldn't expect it to wear out before 50 uses with decent care, and I would think (and have heard) it can last well beyond this 50 use recommendation if you're gentle with it - I'd assume that would include the hinge.

well sence were talking about products i have manily kept realstic pussys. Ok I have to ask you guys. I have the full pussy and ass molds of a porn star you know those 300 dollar or close to. Things that are the actual size of a ass? well got it pulled it out and was confused. How in the heck to you hold these things? its huge and a bit heavy Fills good but it is diffcult to get it in the hole its kinda small even for me and i consider mine average size. Cleaning is ok just have to be careful not to rub to hard.

Why simply for a few reasons, one really hard to clean, kinda of like you have to go by a bottle cleaner to clean it. The motor that makes it move is Loud. I bought this when i lived with my folks. Wait till night turned it on dear god it was like a leaf blower.
I didnt even feel the motion this is only made for people with huge gerthis. this made me worried about the rbo suck two hopefuly the sound of the motor and everything going is a very quiet or next to nothing sound. For 200 bucks i hope so.
