There is no real concern of this in my eyes. While it may not be legal, it will be bypassed. People will take the videos off the site, with the commands to the device, so you can download them free.
EA's Drm showed people bypass the difficult. Even if you don't use videos I'm sure someone can just create an .exe file that when run, sets the device to go through set motions. Put that onto a portable device, plug it into the realtouch and you can use it anywhere.
Hell I wouldn't be surprised if people managed to create their own simulation effects with any old video off the internet.
I will probably wait to see if this is the case, then buy one. Until that happens though, I won't be buying.
I would think it would be hard to extract the motor movement, but I don't really know much about that stuff and hackers can be pretty crafty. I happen to think PPV content is fine (though not my favorite way) it's just the cost that we've seen thrown around that seems excessive.

they should at least got some dvd with the product with content!
& the VOD as a choice to people that would some extra's of there favorite stars
realtouch should better launch it by it's own, this kind of method would be more user friendly for the people who would like to use the product offline...
& no hackers would be needed then!
only online pay per view system would let this product fail!
- some people got a limited broadband connection
- not always online, so offline use would be great to (with dvd or else)
- i don't pay for a product & then pay again for the pay per view system!
it's just like 'll have to play WOW, & you pay & you pay & you pay!
