believe me, this product would really fail !!!

some way or options to make more succes of this toy,

- create dvd's to sell full of shows of stars, so people could use the toy also without an internet connection!
& make this avaible when the product is launched! else better, delay...
- VOD ok looks nice, but let people pay only for live interaction with a ""real model""!
not with movies ripped elsewhere from the net!
- Create own realtouch movies with blue screens...

- the best way to the biggest succes >> they could create a tutorial & teach how people could create there own cue points on there own vids....
= lot's of toys selled, why? >>>> because everybody would have this toy :cP

Dude I understand where you are coming from but dang...you've posted the same thing on like 4 threads. Seriously....make your point once and then allow the discussion to continue. Don't bogart the entire forum.

Moving on...

I'm hoping someone will tell us sooner rather than later if this thing is not really coming out (ahem...HapticEncoder...lol). I, for one, really hate being kept hanging here. Could they at least send out more tester units to those of us who have been faithfully waiting (since February)? It's not like we have a huge community here. Is this possible?

Sorry I've been trying to avoid coming on here until I am 100% sure it is going on a set date. We are doing another round of Beta tests just to be sure everything is ok, as well as making a few more minor improvements. We are very positive in thinking that we only have a few weeks. I know, I know I am playing the boy who cried wolf.
I would just like to say that I agree with dancer. They really should consider selling Realtouch DVD videos that can be used without internet connection. Of course, they could feel free to charge an arm and a leg because people could use it as much as they wanted. My point is that Realtouch will fail if they charge by the minute for its use.
Here's to hoping there is a September Launch for the Real Touch!

I second that! Let this be the month that Real Touch Launches!

Haptic Encoder or whoever knows, please give us info on when Real Touch is going to be released! Any info in general pertaining to the Real Touch would be greatly appreciated.
Just an update; another round of Beta tests was done to test one issue we were having. We also made a fix for this issue, which seems to have worked. As i said, I've put my foot in my mouth plenty and I have always been optimistic. That being said I think we will start selling in September.
Thanks for the update, H_E. At this point I'm resigned to "when it's done". ^.^

Hopefully none of these issues are uber-serious or likely to recur with the fixes you guys have been able to put in place?
I really wonder if the issue is tech or legal. I relly feel that royalties are the core issue not tech. Porn companies, the big ones, are dying for cash flow and this would be the first but much sought after step forward in a user exp since the vhs.

It really isn't. The Virtual Sex Machine was, and still is. The Virtual Sex Machine has rights to the only Virtual Reality Sexual simulator you can run from a disc without having to continuously pay "royalties." When you buy the machine, and you buy a disc, you can play it forever, without ever paying one more nickel.

And I'm still the one betting the delays are legal. But not for the reason you suggest. AEBN has already secured usage rights for the content. (Download and play, anyhow.)

Well, I'm just wondering...if these "issues" are "technical," What might they be? If they were hardware, that would require re-production of the product. But no such thing has been suggested here.

Very peculiar for a "technical" issue.
On the other hand.....legal issues can last for months at a time, with little or no movement.
(Things that make you go "Hmmmmmm")
100% not legal. Take my word for it. There a are a few factors at play. One of the delays was wanting to pull everything from one site. Currently you have to go to AEBN's theater to view content. We didn't like this, and wanted consumers to stay in "realtouch.com" and not have to link outside of that. So while getting that ready we also ran into a belt issue, which our current beta testers are testing for us. One of them can confirm this if they are on here. This issue was the biggest one, in a sense I guess you could say it's legal as we don't want anyone getting hurt and are trying to be overly cautious. Another factor is that this is our first physical product. Let me tell you, I now know how these people who try to release simple products feel. Lots and lots of headaches!

Anyways, this isn't a virtual sex machine forum so I won't debate it's virtues or problems. All this being said, things look really good. So I'm going to bet you guys will be a little surprised this month.

Interesting....I noticed the term "Virtual Sex" has been pretty much eradicated from the site. I'm wondering if THAT might have "one" of the legal issues?

And oh my yes....product liability is a scary, scary thing. Especially with such a "delicate" appendage!
