Yeah, I'm really looking forward to this thing, but the delays are admittedly making me a little nervous as they just seem to keep coming.

Also, I'm a bit surprised we haven't heard more from certain forum members, especially one who indicated he'd be making several review updates over a period of time and seems to have just disappeared soon after posting his initial impressions (though favorable)... That's a bit disconcerting also (though of course there are many possibilities for this).

Still trying to keep the faith tho... Smile
so is june a no go?

they emailed officially as if june was a sure thing, but june is coming to a close and nothing.

delayed again? (for the nth time now it seems)

i honestly have better things to do with my money if this thing is gonna be delayed forever like this.
I'd say that at the very least it would be wise for them to continue to update the blog and put the product out there to keep (or at this point create) a buzz. I know they are not used to launching products but this is really a bad way to do it.

I've done marketing for a record label. Album releases are always getting pushed back but the key is to keep interest moving forward in a positive way so loyal followers don't feel like they are being screwed with.

Realtouch should release some videos - a behind the scenes with the Realtouch Team, interviews with featured stars, trade show reactions, etc. But whatever you do - Do not let the buzz die and do not piss off the loyal early adopters.

Shameless plug- but Realtouch team - I think you should hire me for your marketing!
This is bullshit it has been what 6 months now. Why don't they just hurry up and release it already!
We will be selling units by the middle of next month. Also we are setting up for trade show reactions ect.. We had one issue that was giving us fits and we fixed that issue. So now we are ready for the next phase. I'll give a less cryptic update as soon as I am able.

Thank for the posting the update. But I think the question on everyone's mind is how certain are you this time? personally I got tired of waiting and just brought a fleshlight instead.
Another Question when will they be available to buy on the website??
Thanks for the update H_E! Tt really is better to get it right the first time, and just knowing some issue was fixed is enough to make me happy to wait a bit longer...

I know it sucks to wait, but seriously - which would you rather? Getting the product a little later...or...getting the product right away but having all sorts of problems and reliability issues with it? This is something that really, really has to be right the first time.
Yep. While I want one now, I wouldn't feel slighted if development took another 10 years, because really, until we've exchanged money for goods, they don't owe us a damn thing. I think they know that releasing the product with any design flaw that could result in returns would be real bad for business. It's not like a piece of software you can patch, if it breaks, then hopefully they'll allow you to return it for a refund or a new model (within a certain time period of course). What do they do with the old one though, they can't really just fix a broken part, because the whole belt has touched another guy's dick, and I'm not sure the "but we washed it" excuse is going to get many more people heading for the pre-owned aisle.

While I agree with kinetic that they could be doing better from a marketing standpoint, that ultimately is going to be a matter of their bottom line and doesn't effect me much at all. I know about the product, I want one, and no amount of interviews or product demos is going to assuage any reservations I still have.
I know it always seems like it's "a week away". However I feel 90% certain that we have a final product and will have a set date on when we start selling. Believe me, I want this to come out probably more then most consumers. We are just trying to get it right the first time.
