Full Version: when will the replacement real touches with the lube fixes be out?

Got my second replacement - this one appears to have a repaired or replaced lube pump. But because they had to rip the thing apart to make the repair, the result is that the glue or silicone adhesive used to re-seal the unit resulted in slightly deforming the contour of the case, causing the cover to not lock/snap on tightly and now it easily comes off. Again, they need to completely re-design this device and offer existing customers a free or discounted replacement. I'm not holding my breath!
i also had the same work done to my second unit i recieved ...i noticed some sealant on the joints everywhere....i am have my doubts that such a device can ever be leak proof ...

Oh great this is what I have to look forward to when I get my replacement. How long did it take to get yours? My 4 weeks will be up on the 18th.
Well just got a reply to my email to real touch. Another 2-3 weeks out before I get my replacement.
Well I've been waiting since 7/21/10 for my replacement. Tomorrow my replacement is scheduled to arrive. I will post a review on the new unit.

Notice that I said "second replacement". I'm talking about my THIRD RealTouch - the first two leaked lube. Time for a new design and free replacements of newly designed units sent to existing customers - that is IF they want word of mouth to turn from bad to good.
