Any one have a problem with there real-touch leaking lube out of the back where the cord comes out?

Yes, this does happen from time to time, so you're not alone. It's not terrible for me, but the toy is always at least a little messy to use.

Yes, I had the same problem. It happened all the time. I took apart my realtouch after it stopped working and judging by the way the unit is built, I don't think lube should be coming out of the cord hole. My assumption on how the lube is getting to that point is either 1) lube is leaking out of the reservoir or 2) lube is escaping through the sealant. This sealant is the rubber white material you find circling around the realtouch unit. This sealant separates the ribbed belt area from a chamber that holds many of the gears and wires. This chamber is also where the lube reservoir is located. If lube is getting into this area, then lube is also getting into the gears and wires. (in my case it was a mixture of water getting in there from washing and lube from who knows how).

I am receiving a replacement unit soon, so I'm happy. Not so happy about the manufacturing flaws, but hey, that's the way it is and I hope the company improves on it.

I don't see any areas on the outside where the sealant is missing. I wondering if the lube reservoir has a hole in it?

Is there any way to safely take it apart and patch it back up?

i had the same problem as well. So now i only fill it 50% and it does not leak anymore.

I think I'm going to start doing that cause mine just makes a mess all over me.
