Tried one of these out tonight and found it was a mixed bag. The sensations it delivers are pleasant, but only reminiscent of the way getting head feels. The amount of suction it applies, though, is amazing.
As for the rest of the experience, I found myself reaching orgasm fairly quickly, but it was the kind of orgasm where my body reacted before I felt ready to blast off. It was a different kind of orgasm, too. Nowhere near as intense as what I experience when using my hand.
I suspect that the reason why I experienced this is because I've been using my hand since breaking up with my wife two years ago, being used to doing it that way, and possibly also because I've been having some difficulties getting and keeping a really good erection. Plus the excess lube seemed to dampen sensation a little bit rather than enhance it.
The Tenga 6.0 comes preloaded with lube, and I found there was too much - in fact, more than there should be for something that is intended to be a single-use device. At least you can't complain about insufficient lube!
I also found the lube to have a somewhat disagreeable smell - rather plasticky/chemical in character and, for a water-based lube, a bit hard to wash off using mild soap and water.
The Tenga 6.0 can be cleaned, but not easily, and reassembling the device is a pain. One helpful hint I can offer is to remove the lube-saturated pad from the device first. Then remove the actual plastic insert, (you have to remove the retaining ring first before the insert comes free) turn it inside out, and wash it with mild soap and water. The lube is quite slippery, so you may find this operation to be a bit harder in actual practice than it sounds. Re-assemble the device in reverse order, finishing with replacement of the cap that is removed before the Tenga can be used.
My overall impression of the device is that it's interesting, but not wholly realistic. I paid $30.00 (including shipping) for mine, and think it's a bit pricey in relation to the experience it provides, and the limited number of uses I will get out of it.
I will try using it again and see if my opinion changes, but for now, I'm giving it 3.5 stars. If the makers of Tenga came up with a version where the user can select the amount of lube, and also clean it for a reasonable number of uses, then the cost-benefit ratio would improve dramatically.
Oh, wait! Isn't that what the Tenga Flip Hole is supposed to do??
