Full Version: What is wrong with this picture?

I absolutly love the RealTouch and want to work with the company to improve thier fantastic product. This is not a complaint in any way, shape or form.

The attached images are simply to document the slit belt problem that I encountered.

This is a design problem with my device and will probably not happen with anyone else. I notified the company about this problem using the website's live chat and was told that management will contact me by email later.

I will order another RealTouch if it is not possible to replace the belt myself, but if so, then hopefully I can obtain a discount.

Anyway, this is a fantastic product and every male on Earth should have at least one!

On January 21, 2010 I received my replacement RealTouch!

Management contacted me and viewed the images of the torn belt. They provided me a UPS pre-paid sticker and I shipped the damaged unit back to them at no cost to me.

Today, I received the replacement unit and everything is working perfectly.

This is one LOYAL customer and I will be proud to tell this to everyone I know.

It kind of weirds me out with the whole sending it back thing, seems a bit, well, un-hygenic?
Wow just saw this post...just to let you know we are sure to keep everything hygenic...no parts are re used, but if there is a problem we want to see the device so that we can document everything and find a bigger trend if there is one.
Yeah I'm sure, that's not at all what I was implying. And I do see the value of documenting issues.

Just the fact that someone has to open and disassemble those RMA's, I'm sure they use gloves but I still wouldn't want that job, kinda gross.

I was thinking the same thing. Not only gross but probably a health hazard on about a zillion levels. I mean, the health dept. doesn't even let consumers return toilet seats for sanitary reasons. All sales are final. And here we have a device that people actually ejaculate into.

Not only that, what if someones belts ripped and they got somehow scratched by mechanical parts and bled. Blood-born disease, anyone?
I doubt they even open those boxes. They probably just want you to send it back as a gesture of proof.
I imagine that because this is fairly new technology they want to make sure that this is isolated. There is always going to be a certain number of items that just fail. This type of gnarly disassemble is a good way to make sure the manufacturing process isn't creating faults.
