Yeah, real deal for me trumps everything else. But that's not to say toys aren't completely great for a change or solo experience.
The 'real deal' obviously, in the sense that every person would surely rather have sex with their fantasy partner rather than just masturbate thinking about him/her.
But then again, I think most guys would agree that the tenga flip hole blowing your dick whilst watching top notch porn is probably better than having sex with a grandma or a skank or even 70% of the opposite sex.
Some people, or course, just have a dislike of real sex, finding it messy and too intimate and such like. Oscar Wilde said that masturbation is making love to the one person who truly loves you (or something like that).
The interesting question would be whether highly realistic sex toys/virtual sex will ever replace the desire to have sex with real partners (for 'normal' people).
The real question here is, would you have to put all the effort into before and after with the real deal. Real women are amazing, but require so much upkeep if you want one who is not just a skank or whore. Real touch, I can get double blown and 30 minutes later play video games for 10 hours without anyone bitching.
