I've seen a lot of complaints about the fact there is too much lube during videos. I just wanted to post something about that here.
The main reason that we use so much lube as the default is simply for your safety. We decided to be more aggressive with the lube. When using a sex toy there is a very fine line between too much lube and not enough. We decided to err on the side of caution.
That being said we added the lube slider to give the user control over how much they actually wanted. Some users just turn the lube off and manually insert the lube as needed. Others like more lube then supply. Either way we want you to figure out which setting is best for you, but for now we still would rather be safe then sorry.

What I've started to do (though of course anyone trying this please be careful and do so at your own risk) is not to put quite as much lube in the reservoir before use. Usually now I just put enough in to flow over the belts plus a little extra, and that's enough for a session, whereas before I tried filling it to the top. Seeming to work better for me to use less (and just keep slider on normal).
I learned to use pure Glycerin as a lubrication. Much cheaper ($3.50 for 6 fl Oz at Wallmart) and workes perfectly with the RealTouch machine.
Since pure Glycerin is not diluted with water, it does not dry out as rapidly, so much less lubrication is required.
I turn off the "auto lubrication" option on the control window and simply press the "lubrication burst" button when things start to feel dry. On average, about once every five minutes.
Tonight, my wife got to see this fantastic invention in full action, for her first time. She was simply facinated at how well it worked!
With two computer monitors, I had my RealTouch bobbing up and down and doing it's thing, while the controlling video was shown on my secondary display. On my primary monitor, I was reading and studying some Ph.D level scientific research papers.
My wife watched me tonight using the RealTouch, sycronized with the video, and was absolutly facinated.
When will there be a female version available?

As for the female version, of course you know I can't give any real details but we are trying to come up with something. It's just a bit more complicated. At consumer shows we always have woman that are fascinated by it, in fact a lot of them want to buy it for their significant other! So we hear the "when will I have one" question often.
Hmmm...so the good folks at RealTouch erred on the side of caution by having the unit dispense more lube. How is this a safety benefit when all of the lube drains out of the unit through gaps in the reservoir - i.e. NOT from the dispenser holes or the fill-cap, when unplugged and stored? And the joy of finding your RealTouch enjoying a nice bath in lube the next time you go to use it - errr - I mean clean and refill the lube! How about some quality control here?

I'm going to have to agree with RealTouch. As so many people out there are idiots, they probably don't want the liability of people putting their cock into a potential meat grinder with no lubrication. Right now, I just turn my lube off, and use it manually.

Seeing as you saw fit to quote my post - I would ask: did you even read it? These units are defective. They leak when unplugged and stored upright, even in a manner that would normally not force the lube to leak from the openings. Would you buy a keg of beer with a big hole in the bottom and bring it to your Superbowl party? Or would you blame yourself for being an idiot because the store was selling leaky kegs of beer? Or maybe you would try using the software lube-control-slider to keep your beer keg from leaking? Yeah, maybe if I bought a RealTouch off the shelf in a store and saw lube leaking all over the package, I might put it back on the shelf and not buy it. But we are buying these things over the internet and not finding the defect until we fill them with lube.

I received your info about lube, storing position, etc. My understanding of the design of the unit is that there are 3 openings in the lube reservoir: the fill-cap, plus one hole above each belt where the lube dispenses. If there are additional openings where the lube can come out, there should be a clear explanation of where they are included in the user instructions, and I saw none. Otherwise my unit has drained almost all of its lube from the reservoir when UNPLUGGED AND STORED IN A PLASTIC BAG AFTER BEING CLEANED AND THOROUGHLY DRIED, and upon close inspection, NONE of it leaked through the 3 openings; so my guess was that the reservoir has a leak. If there is another explanation, I'd sure like to hear it. Otherwise, I suspect that there are defective units out there.

I have found that if you start a video durring warm-up, the Realtouch stops warm-up and goes right to the video. It saves the lube Hapic talked about in warm-up mode
